🧠 naps are maintenance, not laziness
irregular schedules are valid
💜 rest is part of the plan
🎲 decision fatigue is real
🌸 small wins count a lot

built around how your brain actually works

most productivity tools are designed for neurotypical brains on a 9-to-5 schedule. mindquestor isn't.

😴
naps are mandatory maintenance
ADHD brains burn through dopamine faster than average. a mid-day rest isn't a luxury — it's how you stay functional. mindquestor schedules your nap first, then arranges your tasks around it.
⚔️
tasks are quests, not chores
language matters. calling something a "quest" activates the part of your brain that wants to do things. small reframes like this are backed by how ADHD brains respond to novelty and reward.
🍽
dopamine needs a menu, not a lecture
the dopa-menu lets you pre-plan enjoyable activities before you need them. no more decision paralysis mid-burnout. roll the dice and your brain already knows what's good for it.
time blindness is real and workable
the pomodoro timer has Hammy — a little golden hamster who fills up as you complete sessions. visual progress reduces anxiety about time passing. the free timer is there for when rigid blocks don't work.

four tools, one calm space

everything you need, nothing you don't. no subscriptions. no premium tier. no dark patterns.

🍅
pomodoro timer
customise focus time, break, and long break lengths. watch Hammy the hamster fill up as you work. visual progress, not just a countdown.
focus
📅
smart day planner
tell it when you woke up. add your quests. hit auto-schedule. it builds your whole day around your nap time — main quests first, side quests in the gaps.
planning
🎮
habit mini-games
daily habits become quests with streaks and a 7-day progress tracker. check them off and watch your streak grow. reset each day — it's a game, not a judgment.
habits
🍽
dopamine menu
pre-plan your appetizers (5-10 min resets), sides (background activities), entrees (real hobbies), and desserts. when you can't decide what to do — roll the dice.
self-care

made by someone who needed this

"I'm neurospicy — and I built mindquestor because every tool out there made me feel broken. I'm not. and neither are you."

this app exists because the mainstream productivity space is built for a very specific type of brain on a very specific type of schedule. naps aren't in their plans. irregular wake times aren't in their plans. dopamine crashes aren't in their plans.

mindquestor is free because it should be accessible. it uses Open Dyslexic font by default because your brain deserves readable text. it calls your tasks "quests" because language shapes how your brain responds to difficulty. every decision in mindquestor was made with a neurodivergent brain in mind.

it's not perfect. it's a work in progress. but it's built with love, and it's yours.
